About
Sophia earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2023. She is currently a third year medical student at Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at Central Michigan University, with hopes of pursuing a career in pediatrics.
In the lab, Sophia works alongside her mentors Dr. Hilary Marusak and Dr. Aimee Luat on the role of the endocannabinoid system in pediatric drug-resistant epilepsy.
Outside the Lab
In her free time, Sophia enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family, friends, & her boyfriend Sam!
