About
JQ earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Community Action and Social Change from the University of Michigan in 2025. Her current goal is to obtain her PhD in Clinical Psychology and use her research to make mental health care more equitable and accessible for marginalized communities.
In lab, JQ co-coordinates the BRAINS study with her "twin" (Natalie Thurston), manages the lab's communications, and helps plan team/community events.
Outside of the lab, JQ enjoys performing in musicals, crafting, and going to the Detroit Zoo.
