About
JQ earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Community Action and Social Change from the University of Michigan in 2025. She is currently a part-time student at Wayne State University, getting her prerequisites before applying to vet school.
In lab, JQ co-coordinates the BRAINS study with her "twin" (Natalie Thurston), manages the lab's communications, and helps plan team/community events.
Outside of the lab, JQ enjoys performing in musicals, crafting, and going to the Detroit Zoo.
