About
Kama is currently an MD/PhD student at Wayne State University of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience, Psychology, and French. She is interested in conducting research on externalizing disorders and neurodivergence as well as pursuing a clinical career in neurology, with a specialization in neurodevelopmental disorders.
Outside the Lab
In her free time, Kama enjoys writing speculative fiction, working on her at-home espresso bar, and spending time with her loved ones and cat, Steve.
