About
Sam attended Albion College where she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology, concentrating her studies in Neuroscience. She is currently a fourth-year PhD student in the Translational Neuroscience Program at Wayne State University. Her research investigates the role of the endocannabinoid system in suicidal ideation among teens.
In the lab, Sam leads the SERENITY study and enjoys mentoring research assistants and volunteers.
Outside the Lab
In her free time, Sam enjoys painting, photography, hiking, and spending time with her friends and cats.
