About

Shelley earned her Associate's in General Studies from Macomb Community College and later went on to earn her Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Toledo. She plans on pursuing a second degree majoring in public health from Wayne State University with a career path focused in the medical field.

 

In the lab, Shelley works as a recruiter for different studies, such as CannaMama and BRAINS. Her research over the years has included attending several research conferences, giving poster presentations, and being a co-author on publications.

Outside the Lab

In her free time, Shelley enjoys going to hot yoga, traveling, making custom-made wreaths, and spending quality time with her son Dylan and cat Piglet.
